D20 dice roller

A 20-sided die (d20) gives each number from 1 to 20 the same chance, 5%. One die is rolled by default. You can roll up to 10 dice or change the number of sides.

How the result is drawn

  1. Each die is rolled with your browser's crypto.getRandomValues. Every whole number from 1 to the number of sides has the same chance, and each die is independent of the others.
  2. The 100-sided die draws one number from 1 to 100 directly, so each number has a 1% chance.
  3. Random whole numbers are drawn by rejection sampling, so no number is favoured. The result is fixed when you select the button, and the rolling animation is for display only.
